Smith named new marketing director for Good Samaritan Society

CROSSVILLE — Good Samaritan Society - Fairfield Glade is pleased to announce that Rosa Smith has been named our new Marketing Director. Smith joined Good Samaritan in March of 2011, overseeing the Wellness Program and the Volunteer Program. She coordinated a comprehensive wellness program which meets the daily activity interests of her residents. Additionally, she oversaw a volunteer program that has compiled over 10,000 volunteer hours in 2013 alone.

Prior to coming to Good Samaritan, Smith worked in the medical field, assisting local physicians with patient care, business accounts, and office management. She has also worked in marketing and communications.

Smith attended Cumberland County High School and then went on to pursue business and nursing at Roane State Community College, maintaining a 3.92 G.P.A. She has always set high standards for herself.

Smith is married to her husband Bruce, and they have two beautiful daughters, Megan and Kaitlyn. They make their home in Crossville, TN and enjoy spending time with each other and their children. God, family and trustworthy friends are her main priorities in life.

When asked about her promotion, she stated, “March 2014 will make three years since I have been with Good Samaritan Society - Fairfield Glade. I am very excited about what 2014 will bring, not only to me, but to our residents and families with Good Samaritan Society - Fairfield Glade. I look forward to starting my new position as the Marketing Director and working with all the staff, residents and applicants. I feel very confident about my future with Good Samaritan Society - Fairfield Glade.”

Gene Wockenfuss, Administrator at Good Samaritan states, “Rosa is a perfect fit for what Fairfield Glade needs right now. She brings a great deal of energy, she knows the area with her local ties, and - most importantly - she’s a true servant to others! I look forward to working with Rosa and believe she will elevate an awareness of Fairfield Glade to not only Cumberland County, but the region and nation, as well.”
