Nina Hardison exhibits at Palace and PCAC

CROSSVILLE — Texas native Nina Hardison is sharing her exhibit of oil paintings at the Palace in Crossville and at the Plateau Creative Arts Center, 451 Lakeview Drive in Fairfield Glade.

Nina, who is an Art Guild member and December Artist of the Month at the PCAC, paints in her home studio and concentrates on her love of oils. The artist has studied with many well-known artist instructors and continues to study and paint with other artists in the community. Other exhibits have been with the Full Circle Arts Gallery and Foothill Painters group in North Carolina. Her solo show was in 2006 in Texas. Her paintings appeared in the II Chiostro Annual Visual Art Exhibit. Her subjects come to the viewer in brilliant oils depicting a moment in time. Nina’s goal is to bring life to the canvas.

The artist stated, “Paintings should make you think, not only admire or agree with the artist. Our personal space is an emotional treasure, so my paintings should enhance the space we treasure.”

Both the Palace and the PCAC exhibit can be viewed through December.
