FGRS Pirates of Penzance plays to a sellout crowd

CROSSVILLE — With a sellout crowd in attendance, Brian Bacon and co-performers gave a sparkling rendition of the “Pirates of Penzance” at the Community and Conference Center on April 19th. This concert performed for the benefit of Fairfield Glade Resident Services (FGRS), was enjoyed by all. From the opening number the cast had the audience laughing with their rendition of “Pour, Oh Pour the pirate sherry” sung by Dennis Merrill and Brian Bacon. Great performances were given by the entire cast which included Dennis Donald, Rusty McClanahan, Amanda Bacon, Ashley Krohn , Regina Stephens, Rick Dennis, Bert Adams, and the chorus comprised of Sue Jay, Chris Sikorski, Gloria Lusk, Fay Kowalski, Kathy Muldoon, and Judy Fistler.

Fairfield Glade Resident Services would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every member of the cast who generously gave their time and talent to entertain the more than 400 people in attendance. Thanks must also be given to the Fairfield Glade Community Club’s Director of Operations Tommy Lee and his entire staff for the considerations and effort that went into making this a special night. But most of all we would like to thank all those who came out to see the “Pirates” which in turn helps to support FGRS.  The monies received will enable us to continue the numerous projects that are underway and go forth with new projects about to be started.  FGRS strongly believes that “Together, We Can Enhance Our Quality of Life” and is deeply thankful for all who support our efforts. We pledge to continue to serve our community by addressing and providing for the human and social needs of our citizens.

Our next workshop will be June 14th when VIZ will present “InSight on Vision”.
