9th Heart-in-One Golf Tournament to benefit Cardiac Group charities

CROSSVILLE — The Cumberland County Cardiac Support Group will hold its 9th annual Heart-in-One charity golf tournament on Monday, April 30 at Deer Creek Golf Course. It is sponsored this year by the Cumberland Medical Center Wellness Complexes and Action Heating and Cooling.

Funds raised will be used by the support group to help individuals and families in need, and a variety of organizations throughout Cumberland County.

This year’s tournament is in the afternoon.

Registration forms for Heart-in-One are available at both CMC Wellness Complexes in Crossville and Fairfield Glade, and Deer Creek Golf Course.

The $200 tournament fee is for a team of four. It includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, lunch and prizes.

The fee and the registration form must be turned in by the Monday, April 23 to either Wellness Complex or Deer Creek Golf Course. Checks are payable to “Heart-in-One” Golf Tournament.

Lunch is at 11:30 a.m.

Check-in is before12:30 p.m. for 1 p.m. shotgun start. It will be a four-person A-B-C-D scramble.

Senior tees will be for men 65 years old and older. Golfers under the age of 65 will use white tees. Women will use red tees. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second, and third-place teams. Awards will also be given for Closest to the Hole on all Par 3s and for the Straightest Drive.

Rain date is Monday, June 25.
