Anyone looking for a little treasure will have a great chance of finding it if they visit the Trash and Treasure Sale on Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Community and Conference Center in Fairfield Glade. This fall Fairfield Glade Resident Services (FGRS) has been allotted the anchor position in this ever popular sale and has been collecting hundreds of items from our generous donors to offer at remarkable prices. You will be able to find everything from sport equipment, home decorations, small kitchen appliances and widgets, some African artwork, and collectable items will can add to your collection or please someone special. This is FGRS’s final fundraiser of the year and we are hopeful you will come and browse through our 500 square feet of merchandise. Many of our supporters have found that you need to arrive early to FGRS’s fundraisers because the great finds don’t last long. Doors open at 8 a.m. for the early birds with a $1 admission, collected by the Community and Conference Center, and free admission begins at 9 a.m. The sale runs until noon and most everything will be sold in that short period of time. Any remaining items not usable by FGRS in our office or for our programs will be contributed to the Habitat for Humanity following the noon closing.
Please come and support FGRS and find that special treasure you have been looking for. FGRS wishes to thank all who have supported our organization this year and look forward to continuing our efforts in proving that “Together, We Can Enhance Our Quality of Life.”
