Richard Kenneth Freehauf
November 16, 1929 — December 13, 2008
Richard Kenneth Freehauf, 79, of Fairfield Glade, passed away Dec. 13, 2008.
A memorial service will be held at a later time.
He was born Nov. 16, 1929, in Elizabeth, NJ, the son of James and Frieda Freehauf.
Mr. Freehauf served in the U.S. Navy. Before retiring, he was employed in marketing and in the aerospace industry with Teledyne Systems.
Golfing and woodworking were his hobbies. He was also a member of the Elks, VA, American Legion and a past member of the Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Freehauf of Fairfield Glade, daughters, Carol (Steve) Ricker of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Lee (Ken) Pfeifer of Ellicott City, MD, Amy (Dean) Wentzel of Hampton, NC, grandchildren, Bryan, Zachary, Morgan, Emily, Madeline, William, Hannah and Dane, brothers, James (Patricia) Freehauf of Manahawkin, NJ, and John (Mary Ann) Freehauf of Barnegat, NJ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Mark Freehauf and sister, Wilma Abken.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
