Henderson announces candidacy for Glade board of directors

Bob Henderson has submitted his application to run for the Fairfield Glade board of directors. He brings with him a wealth of business experience gained through 40 years with General Motors. His responsibilities included virtually all phases of running a business. In much of his career, he worked in the field helping dealers develop and achieve their business plan. His energy and initiative brought him several promotions that eventually landed him back at the home office where he managed a number of departments.
On retirement, Bob became active in the homeowners association where he lived. As president of that group, Bob worked closely with the 270 homeowners and the developer finishing out the subdivision. Bob needed all their cooperation to secure much-needed upgrades in the landscaping, signage, sprinkler system, and general maintenance of the common property. The experience was so satisfying that, after moving here, he became active and is now the chairman of the Fairfield Glade architectural control committee.
Bob and his wife, Judy, love it here like so many others.
“We have so many positive things going that it’s hard not to get excited,” said Bob. "On the other hand, we can’t stand still. We must be ready as our community grows." As we move towards the election, Bob would like to visit with as many groups as possible to give and get feedback. Feel free to call Bob, at 707-1365, to set a date.
