Robbie Corbin, membership chairman for the Women's Nine Hole League, met with new members for an orientation on Tuesday. They gathered at Bogey's for a breakfast meeting and discussed the upcoming Nine-Hole season and the procedure for signing in and out. New members each received a name badge to be worn on each Monday of play. Our opening date of play is May 5 with a scramble on the back of the Crag.
The League's opening luncheon is scheduled for Monday, April 28, at 11:30 a.m. Social Chairwoman Claire Sisson should have your reservation and your $11 check if you are planning to attend. If you are late with your reservation, please call Claire at 707-9411. (Sorry, I neglected to put the reservation due date of April 21 in the last article.)
After the luncheon we will hear comments by Druid Hills golf pro, Rag Jones, followed by a brief business meeting. Social co-chairwomen, Claire Sisson and Marlene Smith have planned an enjoyable luncheon for all members. We hope to see you there.
