Big South Fork Opry comes to the Palace April 12

On April 12 at 7 p.m., at the Historic Palace Theatre in downtown Crossville, the Big South Fork Opry takes center stage. This Branson-, Pigeon Forge-type show will be the first of many shows to come and will be a once a month event on the second Saturday each month.

Featured entertainers on this show will be Rhonda Whiting, a member of the Sisters of the Silver Sage. Rhonda has received many awards in her career. Along with her sisters, they were the AWA group of the year, have won album of the year and song of the year. Rhonda makes her home in Maryville, TN.

Along with Rhonda, show-goers will enjoy the unmistakable voice of Phillip Turner; Johnny Dale, an award-winning songwriter-singer; the antics of Wetwood Dalton; the superb vocal style of Regina Stephens, who is a Crossville native; country pioneer Tommy Dee; and the heartfelt stories of Bud Hale and the outstanding sound of the Big South Fork Opry Band.

The music genre is traditional country, the way-out West sound, a little gospel, and a blade of bluegrass, with more laughter than a monkey can deliver.

Make plans to attend the first performance of the Big South Fork Opry April 12 at 7 p.m.

All seats are $6 in advance or at the Palace door. Buy your tickets in advance and avoid standing in line.
