As winter gives way to spring, intense planning is under way by members of the Art Guild at Fairfield Glade for its first three-day Spring Art Show in April at the new Plateau Creative Arts Center, at 451 Lakeview Dr., next to the Multi Purpose Building.
Themed " Spring Show, ers ," the show is free to all and will feature a people's choice award for different categories of art works. Sales of these works support the guild's many community outreach programs and scholarship funds. The public is welcome and encouraged to buy from the extensive display — all beautiful, original art you will not find in stores. Great gifts at reasonable prices, or for your own collection, they are bound to enhance and enrich all settings.
Starting on Friday, April 18, through to Sunday, April 20, art show hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Being the first public show at the Plateau Creative Arts Center, Guild members are expectantly enthusiastic promising to make this a special show.
The Art Guild at Fairfield Glade is dedicated to the advancements of the arts — since 1978. Its mission is to present art through education, exhibitions, and participation in community events. It is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization promoting the arts for the enrichment of all and an equal opportunity provider.
