‘Travel Across Tennessee’ finalists announced; winner gets GPS monitor

The Travel Across Tennessee aerobic incentive program ended in February at the Cumberland Medical Center Fairfield Glade Wellness Complex with 12 members completing the 500-mile virtual trek.
The program began Oct. 1 and ended Feb. 24. Participants were able to walk or run, tracking miles on treadmills, ellipticals and the walking track. Complex employees documented the distance.
Those who finished 500 miles included David Clark, Dick Dolan, Richard Garrett, Joanne Genow, Jean Grover, Bob Hammond, Tom Higgins, Pat Hill, Teri Luna, Mary Runfeldt, Marsha Takac and Janet Woodard.
Those who reached 250 miles included Barb Storer, Gary Storer and Gary Williams.
Those who crossed the 125-mile marker are Nancy Ashford, Carol Bechtel, Donna Boncher, Barbara Grove, Mary Lou Knowles, Shirley Matthews, Toni Miller, Carolyn Scott, Al Tidwell and Doug Vandre.
A drawing from among the persons who completed 500 miles was won by Robert Hammond. His gift was a Forerunner 301 GPS monitor
