Play Hospice of Cumberland County’s 17th annual Benefit Golf Tournament

Hospice of Cumberland County will host its annual benefit golf tournament Wednesday, May 14, at Lake Tansi Golf Course, according to tournament co-chairs Don and Sherry Koch. The format will be a four person scramble with two men’s flights and one women’s flight. The entry fee is $75 per golfer and includes lunch, greens fees, cart, one mulligan per player, beverages and prizes. Registration and lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. prior to the shotgun start of the tournament at 1 p.m. Please fill out the entry form and mail along with checks payable to Hospice of Cumberland County (Golf) to 30 E. Adams Street, Crossville, TN 38555.

All golfers will be vying for the coveted first and second payout prizes as well as the hole-in-one grand prize to be donated again by Dave Kirk Automotive. Last year two holes in one were recorded to add excitement to our tournament. Although no one was lucky enough on hole #12 for the Buick LaCrosse, Dave Kirk’s other par 3 hole prizes were won by Joe Roper for scoring his ace on hole #3 winning 36 dozen Nike Power Distance Golf Balls and by John Manning for his ace on hole #15 winning a two-year Smart Care Maintenance Package and a Nike SasQuatch Driver. Plan now to get your team together and join us for a full day of fun this year.

Many local companies have pledged their support with prizes or a hole sponsorship with their $150 tax deductible donation. Anyone interested in sponsoring a hole “in memory of” or “in honor of” a loved one, please contact Sherry Koch at 707-7834 for further details.

Hospice of Cumberland County is the only non-profit hospice organization in Cumberland County and it provides professional nursing and social services care to terminally ill patients and follow-up care to their families.
