Vic Humeniuk is a World War II Army veteran who saw service in the South Pacific. He joined the Honor Guard unit when it was formed in 1996. Since May 1999, he has served as the unit's adjutant/quartermaster. He is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6277 of Monterey, and is also a life member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.
Harvey Clouse joined the unit in 2004. He is also a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy. He had the privilege of being in Tokyo Bay to witness the signing of the peace treaty aboard the USS Missouri. His ship escorted the battle wagon back to the United States. He is a past commander of American Legion Post 99 in Sparta.
