Woofstock set for May 11

CROSSVILLE — Woofstock '13 will be Saturday, May 11 on the ball fields beside the Cumberland County Community Complex. The event will begin at 9 a.m., with a variety of vendors, exhibitions, contests, shelter and rescue groups, and other fun activities running throughout the day. This will be the first Woofstock event, and they  are hoping for a great turnout of the Upper Cumberland’s most devoted dog lovers.

Everyone is invited to participate in Woofstock ‘13 by setting up a booth, tent or table displaying or demonstrating their pet-related services and providing information and merchandise for participants and visitors to browse and purchase. Vendor space will be limited. So the organizers do recommend booking a space as soon as you know that you want to participate. The field that they have reserved does not have any electrical hook-ups. If there is inclimate weather, they do have a back-up area at the Community Complex barn.

If interested in participating, contact Chelle at Plateau Animal Hospital at 484-8060 or 787-4583. Vendors may begin setting up their displays on Saturday morning at 7 a.m. You will receive a confirmation letter approximately one week prior to the event, along with a map indicating vendor location and details.

If you have any other questions, or need further information, contact the Plateau Animal Hospital at 484-8060.
