February is here, and that always means the top ten students are being named at the local high schools and superlatives are being selected from elementary school’s eighth grade classes. Cumberland County High School has released its top ten academic seniors, but official rankings will be announced Feb. 4 at a celebration dinner.
The top ten at CCHS, in alphabetical order, are Lorraine “Coco” Bennett; Jeryd Cannon, Landon Crawford, Jenna Davis, Kimberly Dunn, Whitney Hankins, Taylor Houston, Samantha Howard, Fiona Retzer, Kelsey Scarbrough and Robert Ubelacker. Two of these students will emerge as valedictorian and salutatorian after next week’s official rankings are released.
