Sunshine Lady Nancy Fincher is still under the weather and is missed by all the members. Everyone wishes her well and hope she returns real soon. Also on the sick list are Gabby Gambaccini, Betty LeDuc and Bob and Phyllis Jones — the members will keep them in their prayers. Do not forget the brave military men and women. The members welcomed Charlie Ferguson back after a long illness. Fred announced the new members, Richard Gadwell and Doug Lock. Welcome aboard! Fred also reminded the members to bring in their items for the 127 Corridor Sale. Do not forget the great bluegrass music every Thursday evening at the center — it is open to the public and it is free.
The entertainment was provided by Chuck Tallent and Rob Baker. They played classic country music and share some humorous stories. Baker sang "Danny Boy,” which was terrific. The members thanked them and hope they return real soon.
After the dinner prayer, a delicious “Italian dish" was prepared by Brenda Williams and her helpers, Marietta, Velma and Anna. The members furnished the side dishes and the desserts. Next week, do not bring in desserts being there will be a special dessert furnished. Have a wonderful and blessed week.
