Last minute Christmas shopping FOL style

CROSSVILLE — Who would not want to shop a fabulous collection of costume jewelry and first edition or rare holiday books at fabulous prices? You will be delighted to know that on Saturday, Dec. 17 you will have this opportunity at the Art Circle Library. This will be the very first Friends of the Library (FOL) Bling Sale.

The sale will begin at 9 a.m. and could be over by noon considering the values that will be available. This is your opportunity to help support the library with purchases or by donating to their Bling Sale or Book Sale collections.

There are drop boxes at the library and at the Fairfield Glade Village Green Mall for both books and “bling.” This is a great way to recycle your books and costume jewelry with the feel good result of one of the most beautiful, busiest and bountiful libraries in Tennessee.

Thinking about joining FOL but are not a member? What are you waiting for? Being an FOL member is a no-brainer: special shopping hours or days for members at sales, entertainment and knowlegeble authors and speakers at the monthly meetings, a monthly newsletter via mail or Internet with all the latest and greatest library news and special events at reduced costs.

For a minimal annual fee, the rewards are priceless and you will become a member of the Friends of the Art Circle Library of Cumberland County, the first recipient of the Friend of the Year Award jointly sponsored by Friends of Tennessee Libraries and the Tennessee Library Association. Drop by the library to join Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. a.m. to 5 p.m. and please do not miss the Bling Sale.
