FAIR PARK: Country dance to benefit FPSC

Fair Park’s Thursday evening line dancing group will be holding a benefit dance that you won’t want to miss on Friday, Nov. 6, from 7-10 p.m. Country dance with line and couple dances will be featured, but if you’re new to line dancing — don’t worry! There will be instruction beforehand by the group leaders, Frank and Sandy Doherty, that will teach couples or single dancers the steps they will need for the evening. Coffee and snacks will be provided, and the cost for the dance is $3 per person. Proceeds from this dance will benefit Fair Park Senior Center and the many programs it provides to area seniors, so come on out on Friday, Nov. 6, and dance up a storm!

•1 p.m. — UT Extension Arthritis Exercise Program – open to all.

•2 p.m. — Cardio Blast aerobic workout — open, $1 per class.

Thursday, Nov. 5

•9 a.m. — SilverSneakers® Muscular Strength & Range of Movement.

•10 a.m. — Table tennis.

•10:15 a.m. — Beginning yoga with G. King.

•12:30 p.m. — Bridge Bunch.

•1 p.m. — Bass guitar class — open to all.

•1 p.m. — Ceramics with Eileen O'Barsky.

•1 p.m. — Euchre with Tommy Cole.

•2 p.m. — Senior chess club — open play, everyone welcome.

•4 p.m. — Healthy Eating Class — $10 per person per class. Call to reserve your spot.

•6:30 p.m. — Line dancing.

Friday, Nov. 6

•9 a.m. — Beginning Bridge with Marcel Bilodeau.
