Parents, do you have the cutest baby in Cumberland County? Here is your chance to show everyone that you do. Enter the Cutest Baby Contest sponsored by Business and Professional Women of Cumberland County, to be held in conjunction with Downtown Crossville Inc.’s monthly cruise-in July 25. There will be prize baskets with lots of goodies and gift certificates for winners in two age categories — 0-2 and 3-5 years of age.
This event is a fundraiser for the BPW scholarship fund and is the first time the club has held this type of event. If your child wins, he or she will have the distinction of being the First Cutest Baby of Cumberland County!
BPW has a 62-year history of providing advocacy, leadership and service to the women in the area, as well as involvement in civic projects. The group annually recognizes leaders in the community for their service and humanitarian efforts. In addition, scholarships are presented to students at both Roane State Community College and Tennessee Technological Center in Crossville, as well as a donation to each high school to assist a senior girl with her graduation expenses.?If you are interested in entering your child in this contest, please send the child's name, date of birth, parents' names, address and phone number to BPW of Cumberland Co., P.O. Box 3688, Crossville, TN 38557. Please enclose $5 and a 4x6 photo of your child along with this information.
Then start spreading the word! Photos will be available at Mitchell’s Drug Store in downtown Crossville for people to stop by and vote for their choice of Cutest Baby. How do they vote? By dropping money in the jars. Final voting will take place at the DCI Cruise-in on July 25 on the courthouse lawn, and the jar with the most money will be the winner. You need not be present to win, but the name will be announced before the end of the car show. Proceeds from this contest will go into the scholarship fund and help pay for BPW's annual Women’s Forum. Entries must be received by July 1 in order to participate.
