Elks Lodge hosting perch dinner

June will be a good time to celebrate some great meals out with the family at the Cumberland County Elks Lodge 2751. Reservations are required for the wonderful Green Bay, WI perch dinner. Please call early and save your group a place at the table.

The month will start off with Friday night catfish dinners on June 6 and 20. This is all-you-can-eat buffet style dinners. Included is lightly breaded catfish, coleslaw, your choice of baked potato or French fries, dessert, coffee, hot tea or iced tea. Servings are available from 5-7 p.m. at a cost of $8 per person including sales tax.

Sunday, June 22, will be the very popular Sunday brunch with the Brunch Bunch to serve you. There will be a hot buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, coffee, hot tea, or iced tea. You can also order Swedish pancakes or made-to-order omelets with all the fixings. Cost is $8 per person with service from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Car pool if you can because parking is limited.

The highlight of the month will be the very delicious perch dinner from the Green Bay, WI. This will be a special fundraiser for the Elks to support many community activities. The Imagination Library, Boys and Girls Softball Leagues, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, and the Young Marines are some of the groups to benefit from the profits from this event.

Friday, June 27, marks the date and reservations are required. Service will start at 4:30 p.m. with the last seating at 7:30 p.m. Sides with the perch are coleslaw, baked beans, rye bread, choice of potato salad or French fries, dessert, iced tea or coffee. The total price is $14 per person. You can request a double order of perch when you call for an additional $5 per plate.

Please call 484-0150 Monday through Saturday between noon and 9 p.m. for reservations. You will be asked the number in your party, your preferred seating time, and if there is any double fish requests. The Elks Lodge is located at 1145 Genesis Road, which is about one mile south of Interstate 40. Parking is limited so please car pool if at all possible.
