Do you like to sew? Helping Hands Ministry welcomes anyone who enjoys sewing or who would like to learn. Please come on Wednesday, May 14, or Wednesday, May 28, at 10 a.m. to the HHM building, 4166 Peavine Road, Crossville. It is advisable for you to bring a portable sewing machine and call 707-8606 to ensure a place for you.
Wilma Roth and MaryJo Jodarski will cover the basic items needed to be sewn by volunteers at HHM: adult bibs, blankets, chemo caps, rice packs, cloth books and cloth dolls, special needs tote bags, diaper bags. They have several sewing teachers to help with the individual sewing projects and need helping hands to sew these items for the clients they serve in the community.
Helping Hands thanks the community for the wonderful support of their bake and craft sale. Because of your generosity, they raised $2,525 and this enables them to keep their doors open for another three months. Helping Hands' building is open Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is not a ‘thrift store’ but they do have crafts and quality gifts available every day for a donation to help support their ministry. Monetary donations are accepted and always needed.
If you cannot stop by their building, please send your tax deductible check to Helping Hands Ministry, 4166 Peavine Rd. Crossville TN, 38571 or Helping Hands Ministry c/o Regions Bank, 392 N. Main St, Crossville, TN 38555 attn: Robbie D. Wightman.
