Fantastic Quilters to meet May 16

May 05, 2008 02:28 pm

The Fantastic Quilters will be meeting on Friday, May 16, at the Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church in the Fellowship Hall at 9 a.m. doors open at 8:30 a.m. for socializing. The theme this year is your “home” state (the state you consider your home). Those that declared their home state as Ohio will be introducing themselves and giving an introduction as to what a “Round Robin” is. They also have some day trips in the planning and will be working on what classes they will have for their “Back to School Program.”
If you are a long time quilter or beginner or just thinking you might like to quilt, come join the Fantastic Quilters for some fellowship, fun and even learn something new. Members have a show and tell and go to lunch after the meeting. They also have a workday every fourth Friday of the month at the church starting at 9 a.m. Bring your work, or come help with the charity quilts and projects. It is a great way to meet new people and get help with a project if you need it. If you have any questions, please call president Charlotte Flowers at 456-5922.
