The Court Jesters team for the American Cancer Society’s “Relay for Life,” made up of the attorneys and staff of Bean, Smith, Burnett and Patton, recently cooked and served over 450 barbecue plate lunches. The home-smoked barbecue lunches were served on Friday, April 11, from the First United Methodist Church Kitchen. The team was impressed with the response from the community and the donations from Flower’s Bakery, Wal-Mart, Save-a-Lot, Kroger, Sign Smith and Debbie Maynard. The team raised $3,000 in their efforts.
