Ginny Cole competed in Nashville last month for the title of Tennessee's Homecoming Queen and will go on to compete in Anaheim, CA, for the title of America's Homecoming Queen. The selection was made from state finalist homecoming queens from all across Tennessee. A contestant is chosen to represent each state and is awarded scholarships on various aspects including community service, essays, public speaking and interview skills. Cole will receive her scholarship and state crown in California in August. Cole, a senior at Cumberland County High School, is the daughter of Danny and Janice Cole.
