The Roane State Playmakers will hold auditions for “A Year with Frog and Toad” on Friday, Feb. 3, at 6 p.m. in the O’Brien theatre on the Roane County campus in Harriman.

Performers should be prepared to sing 16 bars of a lyrical, music-theatre-style song and to give a short monologue. An accompanist may be provided, but performers should plan to sing a cappella.

The production will require numerous performers and technical help. Anyone is welcome to audition, and no appointments are needed.

“A Year with Frog and Toad” is a musical that follows the woodland adventures of two amphibious friends — a worrywart toad and a perky frog — with their assorted colorful hopping, crawling and flying companions. This is a great show for kids.

Show times are March 22-24 at 7 p.m., March 25 at 2 p.m., March 29-31 at 7 p.m. and April 1 at 2 p.m.
