Barnes, Coleman to wed April 28

CROSSVILLE — Sherri and Greg Byram of Sevierville and David and Rhonda Barnes of Dandridge, TN, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Shayna Ann Barnes, of Crossville, to Christopher Daniel Coleman of Crossville. He is the son of Callie Lane and Danny Coleman, both of Monterey.

The ceremony will be at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 28 in Big Lick at Calvary Presbyterian Church. Reception will follow in Tansi at the Thunderbird Rec Hall.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Glenda and Earl Kirby, Peggy Barnes and David Barnes Sr., all of Crossville. She is the great-granddaughter of Dorothy Joan Rector and the late Dempsey Rector of Crossville.

She is a 2005 graduate of Cumberland County High School and is employed as a dispatcher at Crossville/Cumberland County Central Communications.

The prospective groom's grandparents are Joanna Roberts and the late Leroy Coleman, both of Monterey, and the late Charles and Betty Lane of Twinton, TN.

A 2005 graduate of Monterey High School, he is attending American Military University for a bachelor's degree in fire science. He is employed as captain/training officer at the Cumberland County Fire Department.

Invitations will be sent out, but all relatives and friends of the couple are invited to attend.
