Hartings, Thompson to wed Aug. 8

— Karen McBride of Crossville and Frank and Angela Hartings of Sherrills Ford, NC, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Nicole Margaret Hartings, to William Marcus Thompson. He is the son of George and Sherry Thompson of Pikeville.
The ceremony will be held Aug. 8, 2009, at 5 p.m. at the Lake Tansi Country Club at 103 Country Club Dr. in Crossville. A reception will follow at the same location.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Margaret McBride and the late Truman McBride of Bryan, OH, the late John Hartings and the late Roselyn Reindl of Coldwater, OH.
A physical therapist assistant student at Roane State Community College, she is employed by Advanced Rehabilitation Center.
The prospective groom's grandparents are JC and Reva Troglin and James and Voncile Worthington, all of Pikeville, and the late George and Margaret Thompson.
A graduate of Bledsoe County High School, he is a lineman employed by the Tennessee Valley Authority.
Invitations will be sent, but all relatives and friends of the couple are invited.
