Pleasant Hill Elementary School Principal Mary Ann Huff, left, Director of Schools Aarona VanWinkle, former school board member Shirley Parris and 8th District Board of Education representative Jim Blalock cut the ribbon to the new wing at Pleasant Hill Elementary School during a ceremony last week. Several school board members, Cumberland County commissioners, teachers and students attended the ceremony. Students and teachers in grades six through eight are now occupying the wing.
