CCHS freshman Cade Smith (24) dribbles past a Cookeville Cavalier during the Jets’ 89-71 victory Friday night. Smith finished the game with eight points, two rebounds and two assists to help the Jets improve their record to 10-9 and 1-0 in District 6AAA. The Jets and Lady Jets (5-12, 0-1) hosted Clarkrange Tuesday night and will travel to Coffee County Friday night for a District 6AAA game. Highlights from Tuesday’s game with Clarkrange will be published in Friday’s Chronicle.
