If this photo doesn't encourage readers to pick up the phone call in their orders for the annual Crossville Noon Rotary Club's annual barbeque chicken sale, taste buds might need to be checked. The sale this year will be Oct. 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in front of the First United Methodist Church off N. Main St. Cost is $5 and supporters of Rotary Club programs are urged to put in their orders early. Projects include academic scholarships for graduating seniors and non-traditional students, dictionaries and character projects for third- and fourth-graders and blue jeans and food baskets at Christmas. Tickets can be purchased from any Rotary Club member of by calling Karen Cole at 239-1347.
