Canoeing and paddle boating on Byrd Lake at Cumberland Mountain State Park is a favorite activity at the park, along with swimming in the Olympic-size pool. Park naturalists are also offering a number of special activities each week, with tours of the Homestead Tower and house offered next week as well as games of kickball, ultimate frisbee and other games, and special hikes.
