Many schools and businesses were closed Friday when a winter storm left Cumberland County with freezing rain that made travel difficult. The storm brought light snow from the Midwest to the Mid-Atlnatic Jan. 25, with Tennessee recording ice accumulations of one to two tenths of an inch. Snow returns to the forecast Wednesday night, when temperatures will drop into the upper 20s.
