Bill Smith breaks down a box to be added to the cardboard recycling collection Wednesday at the Recycling Center on Maryetta St. The center offers recycling of glass, plastics, newspaper, junk mail, aluminum and metal cans, as well as cardboard collection. It is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. There are also 14 convenience centers in the county, many with recycling collection available.
