The Friends of the Art Circle Library were busy Thursday preparing for the semi-annual used book sale, which begins today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dixie Bradley, Gloria Ringel, Sandy Blackwell, Joyce Van Nocker, Jake Brady and Joy Morgan sort books by genre to make shopping easy. There will be hardback fiction and nonfiction books, paperbacks, oversize softcover books, children's book, junior and young adult books, puzzles, pamphlets, VHS tapes, sets and even first editions. Saturday, find treasures at a great discount with the bag sale, where all the books in a bag are $1. The sale is being held in the Cumberland Meeting Room and all proceeds benefit the library.
