Mary Beth Seivert, Art Circle Library volunteer, left, helps Ellie Black work on her R is for Robot project after children's story time Tuesday morning. Children's Librarian Patty Dalton read "The Trouble With Sisters and Robots" during story time and the children then worked on projects which help them recognize letters of the alphabet. The Art Circle Public Library invites parents, grandparents and teachers to the Every Child Ready to Read Workshop Aug. 26, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 5 to 6 p.m. There will be free materials, patterns and handouts for all participants, live demonstrations and refreshments. Children are welcome. Register by all 484-6790, ext. 228, or visit the children's library.
